Not a real big fan of Rivera's after last night. It's the first preseason game, not the super bowl. Really loved how he blitzed over 50% of the time. The Bears come in with a vanilla game plan and Rivera coaches it as if he wins some kind of an award. Ugh.
And Dave Toub, please work with the coverage (and blocking) units....please. Last night was ugly. UG-LY. I thought the first team offenses and defenses looked ok. I agree with what Zaidman said on twitter about the TD that the first team defense gave up (that it was because of the poor field position thanks to poor kickoff coverage.) Still though, would have liked to have seen Cutler play more than one series. Hope Hanie, Hillenmeyer and Major Wright are all ok. If you didn't see the game last night and want to see the first team offense and defense play (before ultimately falling 25-10) then turn into the NFL Network at 9pm CDT tonight.
